phone a friend on a phone
phone then even when they're not home
phone a friend/make a phony phone call
phone a doctor and ask them how they are
and then phone an elephant again
use your phone as a thing to throw away
to hit a target in the distance
use your phone as a thing to hold open a door
use a phone and say it is yours
don't forget to phone your mom when you're away
don't forget to throw your phone away
throw your phone away and say it wasn't you
say it was some guy that you used to think you do
did you go to school and ask for a thing?
because I'm pretty sure i saw you do that
and yesterday was like tomorrow because we're not there and we won't be
i think about a phone when i'm on the phone with a hospital
i think about the phone when i have a phone call to make
object and subject relation/all is all

you and arty and me

you and arty and me
we're as happy as squirrels can be
you and arty and me
we're taking over the world!
"hey arty, don't you think that subsistence farmers
should really be working factories?
they won't need a pay raise until completely modernized
and i can give them a call!"
the world seems so sad living like "pigs"
but i'm also kind of glad for the opportunity
to take advantage of their ferality
and assimilate them to my economic morality

your face looks clean, but is it really?
don't you wonder if it ever will be?
now you can burn your skin of to be sure
and buy a plastic bag to hide your burns
oh baby, aren't you beautiful?
getting a job is a terrible idea
but i've got to get some food
hell i'll sell those chemicals too
i'll take a walk and i'll burn the face of the earth
with a strike i will spray removing the dirt
and the people will run when it rains
not because it's cold or wet
but because it's acid

the conquest of bread

if you're tired of paying taxes, expropriate your property to the anarcho communists. we'll work the land together in peaceful harmony towards the satisfaction of everyone's well being. have you had enough of working to barely make ends meet while the debt keeps you awake at night. do you feel your days are wasted in an unproductive mess that is redundant and unnecessary and leaves you feeling fatigued. we might have our quarrels, but when all is said and done we still need the same things. so if we could work together towards universal well being instead of accumulation, we might succeed in reducing the misery of the world. you might have a good job that brings you fulfillment. consider yourself lucky and please think about the rest of us.

biking through a parking lot into another
i don't know where i am
but i guess i'm where i began
in parking lot heaven or is it hell?
it's really really cold and i didn't dress well
and nobody here cares at all
they're hoping for the best from the parking lot
get close to the door/get a good spot
it's you against everyone, they all want in
be the biggest asshole and then you will win
i am only passing through

i've had enough

you didn't ask my permission
you didn't see if it'd be okay
still you just went ahead and did it
now there's only one thing to say
i've had enough of you and your inconsiderate ways

i can't see very far
01:21
|
|||
the eye can't see very far
so i got out of the car
the car rolled down the hill
and i didn't see it again
i walked out of the valley
and found myself some food
and as i stood there munching
i wondered about you
you've got all the towers
you create the news
people look up to you
and ask you what to do
you tell them to buy a car
and a house in the burbs
fill the rooms with garbage
and keep the lawn trimmed
wake up early in the morning
and go to work
get tanked on the weekend
and push your dreams away
as i stopped feeding
i smiled at a moose
the moose smiled back at me
and asked me "what's the use?"
i said i didn't know
he said he didn't know
so we just stood there thinking
about what makes a home

papa strapped the explosives around my waist
and sent me off to play with the soldiers down the street
so next time they won't make the same mistake
and immediately open fire on any children that come their way

the mission:
a myopic wedge
of our own image
the forests flattened
the concrete poured
the parking lots
dead shopping malls
an infected lot spreads disease
and troubled minds build killing machines
iv. speed racer
i've got my speed racer
galactic simulator
i probably won't see you later
so good-bye
It's got an engine that never stops
you probably shouldn't call the cops
cuz I've got them all payed off.
so good-bye
with my speed racer
manic amputator
tragedy instigator
good-bye
it's a speed racer
galactic destabiliser
i probably won't see you later
so good-bye

can you pull that flower
i can't seem to with my finger
on the trigger fully loaded
pointing at you as you surrender
all the objects you're surrounded
gold and silver and it's all mine
for my mansion of white ivory
do not enter rooms are empty
hello bright flower, harrowed and despaired
born into the cracks in the cement
what have you become now that you've seen the sun?
take care to keep your colour
consumed of all your living body grieving
for the times you could have spent
grazing in the meadow, unceasingly until dormant
fleeting yet anew
hello bright flower, how've you been?
has the wind got your worried
how about a trim?
may your brightness never fade
'neath my dining room shade
can you pull that trigger
i can't seem to with my finger
on this flower drooping over
weeping silently, don't surrender
to the objects we're surrounded
gold and silver empty mansions
can you help it to see the light?

i've got a thing for you
don't try to guess what it is
you might already know
i brought a bag of beans home
ride on a whale to the moon
with my bag of beans
tied to your shoe
