you and arty and me we're as happy as squirrels can be you and arty and me we're taking over the world! "hey arty, don't you think that subsistence farmers should really be working factories? they won't need a pay raise until completely modernized and i can give them a call!" the world seems so sad living like "pigs" but i'm also kind of glad for the opportunity to take advantage of their ferality and assimilate them to my economic morality

if you're tired of paying taxes, expropriate your property to the anarcho communists. we'll work the land together in peaceful harmony towards the satisfaction of everyone's well being. have you had enough of working to barely make ends meet while the debt keeps you awake at night. do you feel your days are wasted in an unproductive mess that is redundant and unnecessary and leaves you feeling fatigued. we might have our quarrels, but when all is said and done we still need the same things. so if we could work together towards universal well being instead of accumulation, we might succeed in reducing the misery of the world. you might have a good job that brings you fulfillment. consider yourself lucky and please think about the rest of us.

can you pull that flower i can't seem to with my finger on the trigger fully loaded pointing at you as you surrender all the objects you're surrounded gold and silver and it's all mine for my mansion of white ivory do not enter rooms are empty hello bright flower, harrowed and despaired born into the cracks in the cement what have you become now that you've seen the sun? take care to keep your colour consumed of all your living body grieving for the times you could have spent grazing in the meadow, unceasingly until dormant fleeting yet anew hello bright flower, how've you been? has the wind got your worried how about a trim? may your brightness never fade 'neath my dining room shade can you pull that trigger i can't seem to with my finger on this flower drooping over weeping silently, don't surrender to the objects we're surrounded gold and silver empty mansions can you help it to see the light?

about

"Old Songs" is a compilation of songs from different albums written and recorded in 2014 for a monthly recording club. The songs vary in sound quality and levels. Beg pardon please. :(

All music and words written and recorded by Graham, except "desert places" is a poem by Robert Frost. A special thanks to Alexandra for editing the album cover on the computer and making it look like the real thing! Also thanks to Marshall for being the first to listen to this album and for saying it's good.

If you enjoy the music and wish to support me, please download the album and send some money this way. Any amount helps. Otherwise just download it for free and kindly demand your friends to send me money. :)
