the city is a living museum of how the world might have looked had cars stolen all the people and built cities just for cars in the debris of bulldozed buildings, the freeways cut scars honking behind glass, plastic, and steel, tiny bodies clag in exhaust rich congestion on the blacktop asphalt exhibit's impermeable membrane. dry leave twigs, stifling stale air still between accumulation monoliths. drips and shards of broke cars, scattered drive through dining wrappers...
